Worried 03:16
Have to say I'm worried now there's no one here I must admit it's creeping in yes there comes the fear There go my friends I'm worried now they may disappear It's funny though to look back and they were never there It's all been done the story goes The governor wearing the Emperor's clothes Some time just walk away Don't come any other day It's been done but no one knows Easy comes difficulty flows Find the time to make them pay and just enjoy this gorgeous day People say I worry too much But they don't understand People say I lost my touch And I have no plan I have to change course now cause I don't understand The puzzle pieces don't fit now, no we had no plan It's all been done the story goes The governor wearing the Emperor's clothes Some time just walk away Don't come any other day It's been done but no one knows Easy comes difficulty flows Find the time to make them pay and just enjoy this gorgeous day

Make You 04:58
No one asked for your secret to living No one condones how you behave Maybe that's why God stays in Heaven He's afraid of what He's made But I laugh at your indiscretions Your constant foibles and your shame I see you standing on your dry dock All confused looking for someone to blame All we wanted was to make you happy But you ruined it instead All we wanted was to make you happy Now it's all gone to your head Well I'm all for new beginnings New adjustments, new way of life Though I see you've put your guns down Only just to pull out a knife There's a boat out on the ocean A blinking light on the horizon Catch your breath, plant your feet Decide if its worth it just to win All we wanted was to make you happy But you ruined it instead All we wanted was to make you happy Now it's all gone to your head All the time we spent together It crossed my mind it won't last forever So give it time and love one another I lost my rhyme I can't stay forever All we wanted was to make you happy But you ruined it instead All I wanted was to make you love me Then I walked way instead

Nobody Cares 03:24
Whoa waitress, Let me pay at least Forget the doctor Just call a priest It's late so We should leave but though Just one more Then we'll all go Nobody care, nobody really cares (About your issues) If you were leaving (About your problems) or if you were even really there Whoa Nellie He hasn't been the same He stalks his apartment Looking for someone to blame When insurances matter Trust fades away You got the Mata Hari You got Doris Day Nobody care, nobody really cares (About your issues) If you were leaving (About your problems) or if you were even really there Just making it up as you go No one here knows its the same No one knows what we all know We're just playing a different game Whoa doctor Can this be the end There must be some way To bring it back again Hold your horses I think I can explain This never knowing Drives me insane

My time's coming fast I'm sure that this won't last You don't have to stay here with me No harm done now you can go free It don't mean a thing I'll drop and you watch me swing I doubt you have much respect For this beautiful neglect You can't tell the good from the bad It's broken all over and sad Kinda lost and I'm without a map Hundred more miles to go and I could use a nap Passed park city now it's eighteen miles to Gap Gotta get used to things man I just have to adapt Our time was the past But I had such a blast You don't have to stay here with me No harm done now you can go free You can't tell the good from the bad It's broken all over and sad

Holding On 03:56
I'm tired of fighting the nonsensical fight Every evening night after night And over in the valley They don't know what's going on The men are all alcoholic The women are just holding on Just holding on I'm tired of pacing night after night Homeschooled by day drinkers the kids' looking for a fight You gotta fix the fences So the horses don't run off And you should see a doctor Or take something for that cough Something here is off Take all these lessons as something you should learn Cause that's the urban landscape sometimes the city has to burn You never called your father perhaps now you should You don't miss your water you're not doing any good It's driving me mad get it out of my sight There's a ton of heat but zero light I'll take your bishop Since you took my pawn Didn't think you'd ever notice I'm just holding on Just holding on
6.
I've gained my consciousness Regained my sense of taste I've boxed up my memories of you and Shot them into outer space The confused look on your face Gives me such a thrill There's dirt under my fingernails and There's iron in my will Don't look now we've given you the boot I'm only looking back so I can shoot We'll split up I'm taking all the loot I'm only looking back so I can shoot I've listened to your oratories I bit my tongue through your rants Sometimes the low road can Take you where the high road can't Maybe your whole crazy story Turns out to be true But you can't wash your hands of fate No matter your point of view. Don't look now we've given you the boot I'm only looking back so I can shoot We'll split up I'm taking all the loot I'm only looking back so I can shoot

Come Down 03:56
There's no need to shout it I can't live without it Nothing matters as much to me So get a closer look You know I've read your book Sit down here's your cup of tea Why don't you please Come down some time? Why don't you please Rest your mind this time? They its never easy To take things nice and easy You don't know what excess is I can tell by your face Your heart's in the right place You don't know what success is Why don't you please Come down some time? Why don't you please Rest your mind this time? There's blood in the rivets that hold your should together There's mud in the river that flows on forever Why don't you please Come down some time? Why don't you please Stick around this time?

I'll be back before you know I'm gone And gone before you know I'm back The horse has gone and left the barn And he ain't ever coming back You can hold your breath for so long Until it all goes black Tread water all you want Until your lungs attack I'll be back before you know I'm gone And gone before you know I'm back She's doing it the way she wants to It's a clean and well lit place Got a problem with how she's doing things She may re-arrange your face It's a tired and old cliche Easy comes and easy goes You took a bad deal on a half acre You brain-dead garden gnome I'll be back before you know I'm gone And gone before you know I'm back All the rain outside go pour it in your hat All those fears and cares don't worry about all of that Take your worries and call someone who cares It's the 13th I'm not going anywhere

Who's gonna love you now Now that the money's gone? Who's gonna love you? Who's gonna love you now? Who's gonna take your hand? Try to make you understand? Who's gonna love you? Who's gonna love you now? Testing the waters to see if you can coexist Staring down the barrel of your insignificance Only from a dream can we wake to see the light Look and look some more but there are no answers here tonight Who's gonna love you now Now that the money's gone? Who's gonna love you? Who's gonna love you now? Who's gonna take your hand? Try to make you understand? Who's gonna love you? Who's gonna love you now? Bring it all home despite all rejection A glimmer of hope in a misplace suggestion If you'd like to stay and rest your bones awhile I'll be on my way it's not really worth my while The situation fits you like a glove Basking in all that careless love Nobody asked you ever to stay Take all good fortune and throw it away Who's gonna love you now Now that the money's gone? Who's gonna love you? Who's gonna love you now? Who's gonna love you now? Who's gonna love you now? Who's gonna love you now?

Bull Moose 04:42
There is a scream And in that scream's the pain of millions Wake from that dream Follow in the dream of billions Run believer run Straight into the arms of Heaven We're lost at sea And no one can seem to find the captain Rest your head Its not as bad as it seems Your mind's all cross You're coming apart at the seams Wrapped up and ready to send Its a shame I have to see you again You're spun out and coming loose You're messing with a real Bull Moose Now is the time To put yourself before the masses Don't raise your hand No need to extend the olive branches So Walk denier walk Away from the arms of Heaven Turn away We won't be coming back here again Rest your head Its not as bad as it seems Your mind's all cross You're coming apart at the seams Wrapped up and ready to send Its a shame I have to see you again You're spun out and coming loose You're messing with a real Bull Moose You need no money This ride is free Take the trip now And forget about me Rest your head Its not as bad as it seems Your mind's all cross You're coming apart at the seams Wrapped up and ready to send Its a shame I have to see you again You're spun out and coming loose You're messing with a real Bull Moose

about

Taber is made up of members of Mid-Atlantic mainstay band The Disgruntled Sherpa Project and began as an offshoot of that band but since their debut release THE SUN MACHINE in 2019 has evolved into the members’ main project.

Consisting of DSP’s founding members Joe Boylan on guitars, piano and vocals and Walt Mamaluy on bass and vocals as well as former The Disgruntled Sherpa Project and Blinktooth keyboardist, Matt Jules Rhine and former The Disgruntled Sherpa Project and Arsenix drummer, Wayne Lee, Taber set a goal for itself in the year 2020 to write and record two songs a month for five months and then release their second album of material in the fall. The result of this undertaking is the full length album HOTEL CODORUS.

Joe Boylan and Walt Mamaluy came up with an idea to write and record an album throughout the year of 2020. Starting in February they wrote and recorded two songs a month through June, then spent the remainder of the summer overdubbing and mixing the album.

Recording was a relaxed atmosphere in the dinning room of Joe’s house which lent to a laid back homey feel to most tracks. The styles range from rockers to extended jams to folk and even a tinge of reggae…or at least an approximation of reggae.

The name, and cover image, come from the Hotel Codorus a historic hotel on the banks of the Codorus Creek which runs through downtown York, Pennsylvania. The culture, art and music of the city served as an inspiration for the music on the album.
